The company prepares two types of products i.e. Super Chilled and Frozen products .
The different products include fillets, steaks, headless & gutted, portions and loins of Nile Perch and Nile Tilapia.
Founded in 2009, Portside Fish Company Uganda ltd was established as a limited liability Company under Section 16(1) of the companies’ act of Uganda as a fish processing and export company. We have created a brand Portside that offers the local, regional and international customers an unparalleled services coupled with a cutting- edge product that is at par with leading international and department of fisheries standards.
Portside Fish Company Limited has set itself out to be a leading fish processing company providing quality Nile perch and tilapia fish products sourced from Lake Victoria, both nationally and internationally. We process both fresh and frozen products and guarantee consistent product excellence, reliability and efficient services to all of our internal and external customers.
We sell our products both locally and internationally, mainly to Europe in countries like Italy, Netherlands, Amsterdam, Portugal and Romania, to Asia, the Middle East and India with an export capacity of 250 tonnes on average monthly.
Portside has presence in all the world markets and has listing with major supermarket chains.
Quality is recognized as a critical factor and at Portside we have rigorous quality checks at all the supplier ends as we source our raw materials from approved suppliers only. Moreover, Portside has widened its services to providing logistics solutions to its valued clients and suppliers alike, thereby becoming a completely integrated food supplier.

A management graduate with wide experience in finance, international Business, trading and food processing, he has an experience of 26 years in the fish processing industry.
